Globe display — if you consent to social sharing at the time of submission, your lift data (lift type, weight, serial number, and approximate city location) may be displayed as a pin on our public Verified Lifts map
Website improvement — to understand how visitors use our site and improve the experience
Legal compliance — to meet our obligations under applicable law

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party service providers as necessary to operate our business:

Tally — form submission platform that receives your lift submission data
Airtable — database platform where submission records are stored and managed
Zapier — automation platform that routes data between our systems
Google (Gmail/Workspace) — email platform used to send verification communications
Squarespace — website and commerce platform that processes orders and payments
Stripe — payment processor used by Squarespace at checkout (we do not store your payment card information)
Printful — print-on-demand fulfillment platform that receives your name, shipping address, and order details for production and delivery of your piece
Print and fulfillment vendors — any additional vendors receive your name and shipping address solely for order production and delivery

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We require that any vendor we work with maintain appropriate data security standards.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Video submissions

When you submit a video of your lift for verification, that video is stored securely in our systems for the purpose of reviewing your submission. Videos submitted by athletes who are not approved for verification are retained for a reasonable period for administrative purposes and then deleted. Videos from approved submissions may be retained as part of your verified lift record.

If you consent to social sharing at the time of submission, we may share your lift video on The Plate Collective's social media channels including Instagram and TikTok. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at info@theplatecollective.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect any sharing that occurred prior to your request.

Serial numbers and public display

Your serial number, lift type, weight, and approximate city location may be displayed publicly on the Verified Lifts map on our website. This display does not include your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information unless you have explicitly consented to additional sharing.

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to operate and improve the site. Squarespace, our website platform, sets cookies automatically for functionality, analytics, and security purposes. By using our site you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy.
