Exchange Policy.

All sales are final. No refunds or returns are offered under any circumstances. Every resolution to an issue is handled through a replacement - not a refund. Because each piece is one-of-one and made to order, this policy exists to protect the integrity of every verified lift in our registry.

Sizing exchanges

If your piece doesn't fit as expected, we will exchange it for a different size under the following conditions:

Exchange request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
The piece must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached
Each serial number is eligible for one size exchange only
The replacement piece will carry the same serial number as the original
Athlete is responsible for return shipping costs

To initiate a sizing exchange, email info@theplatecollective.com with your serial number and the size you are requesting.

Defective or manufacturing error

If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, incorrect barbell loading, incorrect serial number, or any error on our part, we will replace it at no cost under the following conditions:

Defect must be reported within 14 days of delivery
Photo documentation of the defect is required
The replacement piece will carry the same serial number - your verification is never affected by a manufacturing error
Return shipping for defective items is covered by The Plate Collective

To report a defect, email info@theplatecollective.com with your serial number and photos of the issue.

Non-exchangeable items

The following are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances:

Items that have been worn or washed
Items submitted without prior email authorization
Items submitted after the applicable window has passed
Dissatisfaction with the barbell graphic, lift type, or serial number - these are determined at the time of verification and cannot be changed

A note on serial numbers

Every Plate Collective piece is permanently tied to a verified athlete and a verified lift. Serial numbers are never reassigned to a different athlete under any circumstances. In the event of a sizing exchange or defect replacement, the serial number transfers to the replacement piece - your lift record remains intact.
